update on chingay.
first day was quite alright because we were deployed to somewhere near the vip seats, outside paragon so we could still watch the performance but i was more busy talking to the little cute boy scouts there. they are super hilarious. damn cute. (: second day was just HORRIBLE. we had to stand along the small little road outside tangs and wait for the big shots cars. okay so i managed to see mr president and his wife, goh chok tong and lee kuan yew but it felt so retarded having to smile and wave to them when they don't even give a damn whether you existed or not. they were just busy waving to the crowds outside. -_- then we were given half an hour to chiong to paragon to watch a bit of the performance then we had to chiong back to report. they made us wait for one freaking hour and guess what? "ermm..actually there's nothing much left to do. you all can go already." WTHHHHHHH. pei, dina and me were so pissed. we could have watched the entire performance and they caused us to miss the highlight of the programme: the cute small jap boys dancing. ):
